GlampMarket is operated by GlampCenter LLC. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding it.
Information we collect
We collect only what you voluntarily provide:
- Email address — if you sign up for our newsletter. Used solely to send gear recommendations and buying guides.
- Name and email address — if you create an account. Used to identify your account and communicate with you about it.
- Password — stored as a one-way hash; we cannot read it.
We do not collect payment information or any other personal data.
Cookies and tracking
GlampMarket does not use advertising trackers or third-party pixels. We set two types of cookies:
- CSRF cookie — a security token required to process form submissions. Contains no personal information and is deleted when you close your browser.
- Session cookie — set when you log in to your account. Keeps you signed in during your visit. Deleted when you log out or close your browser.
No other cookies are set. We use Umami Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics tool hosted on our own servers. It collects anonymised page view counts and referrer data with no personal information, no cross-site tracking, and no data shared with third parties.
How we use your information
We use your data only for the purpose it was collected:
- Newsletter email addresses are used to send GlampMarket newsletters. We do not sell, rent, or share your address with any third party.
- Account information is used to manage your account and communicate with you about it.
Email platform
Transactional emails (account verification, password reset) are sent via Mailgun. Mailgun's privacy policy is available at mailgun.com/privacy-policy.
Unsubscribing
Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time and your address will be removed from future mailings.
Affiliate links and third-party sites
When you click an affiliate link and visit a retailer's website, that site's own privacy policy applies. We do not control and are not responsible for how third-party retailers handle your data.
Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account or newsletter subscription is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us at hello@glampmarket.com.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@glampmarket.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we materially change how we handle your data, we will update this page and revise the date above.
